GERALD BAKER, President and CEO of Michigan Spring & Stamping announced his retirement after 14 years with the company.   Gerald started his automotive career in 1963 working at General Motors Transmissions plant in Muncie, IN.

During his career, Gerald held top positions with Borg Warner Automotive in Chicago, IL  as well as with A. O. Smith in Rockford, IL.  Then in 1996, Mr. Baker and his wife Beckie made the grand decision to move to Muskegon, MI where he was hired by Michigan Spring & Stamping as the Vice President and General Manager.  In just a few short years, Gerald earned the title of President of Michigan Spring & Stamping and then Board Member of Precision Products Group.

In his tenure at Michigan Spring & Stamping, Gerald has proven to the employees that he is not just a leader, but a man of his word.  With his upfront thinking and honest presentation and Management style, Gerald Baker has earned the trust of the employees as well as a place in all of our hearts.  Michigan Spring & Stamping will not be the same without our fearless leader, Gerald Baker.
